Ernie is Professor Emeritus Agriculture UH Maui, a ISA Certified Arborist and is a ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist. He received the ISA True Professional of Arboriculture 2015 award.

Pat the Nature Conservancy’s Invasive Plant Specialist, member of the State’s Pesticide Advisory Committee and has a landscape industry background from farming to landscape maintenance.
10:45-11:15 Correct Mulching Techniques
Speaker: Susi Mastroianni
Susi is a Certified Arborist and Master Gardener and has owned a garden design company since 2004
11:15-11:45 “A Tree within a Tree”—discussing the biology of trees, which is important for proper air-layering propagation including a demonstration of air-layering
Speaker: Terry Nutt
Terry is a Certified Arborist including Tree Risk Assessment with ISA and owner of A-Nutt Nurseries. He is a former member of the Maui County Arborist Committee
